Tour Plan

1
Arrival in Kathmandu – Begin the Journey Within
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will greet you and escort you to your accommodation at a Boutique Hotel, in the heart of Kathmandu. The day is free for rest and adjustment. In the evening, there will be a warm welcome, orientation with your lead yoga teacher, and a short introduction to the 7-day Yoga Teacher Training program. A light yogic dinner will follow, ending the day with a calming session of Yoga Nidra or gentle restorative postures to release travel stress.
2
Introduction to Yoga – Awakening the Ancient Path
Your first full day of training begins with an energizing Hatha Yoga practice to awaken the body—this traditional style emphasizes physical postures that build strength, flexibility, and focus. Following that, you’ll learn foundational Pranayama techniques like Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing), which balances the nervous system, and Kapalbhati (skull-shining breath), known for cleansing and energizing the lungs. After a yogic breakfast, you’ll dive into the basics of yoga philosophy—exploring what yoga truly is, its origins, and the ethical framework of Yamas and Niyamas. In the afternoon, you’ll study basic anatomy and the connection between the body, breath, and movement. The evening closes with a Tibetan Singing Bowl sound healing session to activate subtle energies and harmonize your vibration.
3
Awakening Energy – Exploring Chakras and Sound
The morning begins with a stronger asana practice designed to build vitality and inner strength. You'll move through invigorating rounds of Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations)—a dynamic sequence of postures performed in a flow to energize the body and synchronize movement with breath. This is followed by more advanced vinyasa-style sequences that enhance stamina, flexibility, and mental focus, preparing you for deeper inner work. Building on the previous day's breathwork, you’ll deepen your Pranayama practice by learning Bhramari (humming bee breath)—a calming technique known to soothe the mind and reduce anxiety—and Ujjayi (victorious breath), often used in asana flow to create internal heat and anchor the awareness inward. These techniques help expand your breath capacity, refine your focus, and create a meditative rhythm throughout your practice. After a wholesome yogic breakfast, the curriculum shifts into the subtle anatomy of the energy body. You’ll explore the seven Chakras—energy centers aligned along the spine—and learn how they influence emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. This session also covers the Nadis, the intricate network of energy channels, and how they serve as pathways for Prana (life force). Understanding these elements is essential for effective meditation, energy healing, and balanced living. In the afternoon, you’ll participate in a Singing Bowl Workshop—a hands-on experience where you'll not only receive the healing frequencies of the bowls but also learn the fundamentals of sound therapy. You’ll discover how vibration and frequency can align the body’s energy centers, promote deep relaxation, and release emotional blocks. The day concludes with a focused Kundalini meditation session—a powerful practice aimed at awakening the dormant spiritual energy at the base of the spine. Through a combination of breath, mantra, and visualization techniques, this meditation supports a deeper connection to your inner self, clears energetic pathways, and cultivates awareness of your higher consciousness. This final practice of the day serves as a gateway to unlocking your inner teacher and embracing the transformative potential of yoga beyond the mat.
4
Sacred Activation – Rudra Abhishek & Divine Union
On this spiritually significant day, you’ll participate in a traditional Rudra Abhishek Puja—a powerful Vedic fire ceremony devoted to Lord Shiva. Led by a Vedic guru who holds a master's degree in Vedic studies, this sacred ritual is performed with precise mantras, offerings, and intentions to invoke divine blessings. The ceremony symbolizes spiritual awakening, purification, and the dissolution of inner obstacles, allowing for deeper connection with your higher self. The transformative energy of the morning will carry into your asana practice, which focuses on heart openers and backbends—postures that release emotional blockages and cultivate compassion. You’ll also explore the art of mantra chanting, with a special focus on the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra, known for its profound healing and protective qualities. The day concludes with guided evening reflections, offering space to integrate the spiritual depth of your experiences into your evolving yogic journey.
5
Devotion, Discipline & Deeper Practice
Today marks a deepening of your yogic discipline as you integrate and refine the practices you've been building throughout the week. The morning begins with a fusion of Hatha and Vinyasa asana sequences, focusing on alignment, breath coordination, and smooth transitions. You will also be introduced to Bandhas (energetic locks)—Mula Bandha, Uddiyana Bandha, and Jalandhara Bandha—key internal techniques used to direct and conserve pranic energy. These elements are crucial for advanced practice and will enhance both your personal experience and future teaching. After breakfast, you’ll shift to the study of yogic nutrition and Ayurvedic lifestyle principles. This session covers the three doshas, the role of diet in supporting spiritual practice, and how food can act as both fuel and medicine for the yogi. You’ll explore sattvic eating and the concept of ahimsa (non-violence) through diet. In the afternoon, you’ll experience partner yoga or restorative yoga, giving you tools to support students with different needs and energy levels. You’ll also engage in group discussion and peer feedback, which will strengthen your teaching awareness, cueing language, and ability to hold space in a class setting. The evening is devoted to Bhakti Yoga, the path of devotion. Through a joyful Kirtan session filled with mantra chanting and live music, you’ll experience the transformative power of sound and community in yoga. This heart-centered practice encourages emotional release, inner joy, and spiritual connection.
6
Relaxation, Reflection & Certification
After an intensive week of learning and transformation, Day 6 is dedicated to deep rest, integration, and celebration. The morning begins with a gentle, mindful yoga session, designed to soothe the body and calm the mind, followed by a Metta Bhavana (loving-kindness) meditation to cultivate compassion and inner peace. After breakfast, you’ll step outside the training space to enjoy a relaxing wellness experience—choose between a rejuvenating Shirodhara therapy, where warm herbal oil is gently poured over the forehead to calm the nervous system, or an Ayurvedic massage to release physical tension and support energetic balance. This time is yours to reflect, restore, and absorb the journey you've undertaken. Following a light brunch, the group will reconvene in the evening for the Certification Ceremony. Here, you’ll receive your Certificate of Completion, officially recognizing your journey to becoming a certified yoga teacher. The ceremony includes a gratitude circle, final blessings, and a joyful celebration of the personal and professional growth you've experienced during this transformative week. This day offers space to rest, honor your efforts, and step confidently into the next chapter of your yogic path.
7
Farewell and Departure – A New Beginning
After a light breakfast and optional self-guided morning practice, you’ll check out from Boutique Hotel. Departures will be arranged based on your travel plans. Though the retreat concludes, your journey as a yoga teacher begins—with a renewed sense of clarity, purpose, and inner alignment.
